Opioid-Induced Bowel Dysfunction (OBD)

Do you experience constipation due to a pain medication? This is also known as Opioid-induced Bowel Dysfunction or OBD. An opioid is a narcotic pain medication. If you experience OBD, you may be eligible to participate in a research study at COR Clinical Research on an investigative oral medication to treat OBD. This study is approximately 4 months in duration and would require approximately 9 visits.

Entry Qualifications:

  1. Be over the age of 18
  2. Have been treated for chronic, non cancer related pain OR have a diagnosis of OBD
  3. Have less than 3 bowel movements per week
