Leg Pain - Intermittent Claudication (Grant #29298)
Intermittent Claudication is a muscle pain (ache, cramp, fatigue) in the calf muscle of the leg that generally occurs after a period of exercise or walking followed by a short period of rest. This is typically caused by peripherial artery disease (PAD). . This study is researching the effectiveness and safety of taking an investigational medication to treat intermittent claudication.
All study related care and study medication will be provided at no charge to those who qualify and a small compensation for time and travel expenses will be provided.
This study is approximately 8 months in duration and would require approximately 9 visits.
Entry Qualifications:
- * Be between ages of 18-40 years of age
- * Diagnosis of intermittent claudication or PAD
- * Have claudication symptoms for at least 3 months
