High Blood Pressure in African-Americans or Blacks
Are you African-American or black and have high blood pressure? Participants are being enrolled in a high blood pressure research study of an investigational medication for high blood pressure in black populations. Study duration is 10 weeks and would require 9 visits.
Entry Qualifications:
- Age 18 or older
- Have high blood pressure (hypertension)
- Participant must be of a black race
- Be willing to discontinue current hypertension medication for duration of study
Participants that qualify will receive study-related care, lab tests, study medications, and high blood pressure education all at no charge.
