Type 2 diabetes with cardiovascular problems

If you are a type 2 diabetic who has a history of cardiovascular problems, or currently are experiencing them, you may be eligible to participate in this clinical research study.

Study duration is approximately 5 years - and involves about 15 visits to our clinic.

Basic Entry Qualifications:

*  Men and Women, age fifty and older

*  Type 2 diabetic (confirmed diagnosis)

*  Hiistory or at risk of Heart/Blood Vessel Risk Factors including:

• -   Heart Attack
• -  Stroke
• -  Coronary heart disease
• -  Chronic heart failure
• -  Chronic renal failure

Participants who qualify will receive study-related care, glucose testing supplies, lab tests, and study medication at no charge. You may also be reimbursed for transportation expenses.
