Diabetes with Heart/Blood Vessel Risk Factors

If you are a Type 2 Diabetic that has heart/blood vessel risk factors such as, heart attack, stroke, or high blood pressure you may eligible to participate in this clinical research study.  The study is designed to improve treatment options so that diabetes patients may control their symptoms and avoid future health complications.

Study duration is approximately four years, involving about 2 visits a year to our study site.

Basic Entry Qualifications:

1. *  Patient is 18 or older
2. *  Type 2 Diabetic (confirmed diagnosis)
3. *  History of Heart/Blood Vessel Risk Factors including:

•                      -  Heart Attack
•                      -  Stroke
•                      -  Peripheral Vascular Disease
•                      -  Diabetes

Participants who qualify will receive study-related care (study drug or placebo), lab tests, and study medication at no charge. You may also be reimbursed for transportation expenses.
