Diabetes & Recent ACS Event

If you have Type 2 Diabetes and experienced recent hospitalization for heart-related health reasons, you may be eligible to participate in a study at COR Clinical Research.  This study will evaluate the effectiveness of an investigational oral medication for patients with the aforementioned combination of conditions.

The total study duration is about two and a half years and involves about 8 visits to our clinic, plus occasional phone consultations with the COR medical team.

Participation Requirements:

*   18 or older

*  Known or newly diagnosed Type 2 Diabetic

*  Recent (within 6 weeks) hospitalization for an ACS event, such as a heart attack, unstable     angina, myocardial infarction (MI) and/or related condition. 

* The COR medical team will explain additional requirements.

Participants who qualify will receive study-related care, lab tests, nutritional advice, glucometer, testing supplies and investigational medication all at no charge. You may also be reimbursed for transportation expenses. For more information, call (405) 272-8481 or complete the form below.
