Diabetic - No Medication  (Grant #29295)

Are you a Type 2 Diabetic not currently taking anti-diabetic medication? This research study is for patients on no anti-diabetic medication or who are treating their diabetes through diet and exercise only and are still not achieving adequate glycemic control. This study is researching the effectiveness and safety of taking an investigational medication  to acheive better glycemic control. 

All study related care and study medication will be provided at no charge to those who qualify and a small compensation for time and travel expenses will be provided.

This study is approximately 6 months in duration and would require approximately 8 visits.

Entry Qualifications:

1. *  Be at least 18 years of age with a diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes
2. *  Not on any diabetic medication and/or only treating diabetes through diet and exercise
