Diabetic - Actos/Pioglitazone (Grant #29291)

Are you a Type 2 Diabetic currently taking Actos (pioglitazone) alone or with Metformin? This study is researching the effectiveness and safety of taking Actos along with Metformin or placebo to acheive better glycemic control.

All study related care and study medication will be provided at no charge to those who qualify and a small compensation for time and travel expenses will be provided.

This study is approximately 1 year long and would require approximately 17 visits.

Entry Qualifications:

1. *  Be at least 18 years of age with a diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes
2. *  Taking Actos or Pioglitazone alone or with Metformin
