Constipation Study

If you have been treated consistently for chronic, non-cancer related pain with an opioid (morphine,oxycotin,oxycodone, etc) pain medication daily you may be eligible for this study.  COR Clinical Research is conducting a study which will evaluate the effectiveness of an investigational oral medication for people who suffer from constipation.

The total study duration is about four months and involves about 6 visits to our clinic, plus occasional phone consultations with the COR medical team.

Participation Requirements:

1. *  18 or older
2. * Chronic, non-cancer related pain treated with opioids
3. * less than 3 spontaneous bowel movements/week
4. * The COR medical team will explain additional requirements

Participants that qualify will receive study related care, lab tests, and investigational medication all at no charge.  You may also be reimbursed for transportation expenses.  For more information, call (405) 272-8481 or complete the form below.
