CURRENT RESEARCH STUDIES
Constipation Study
If you have been treated consistently for chronic, non-cancer related pain with an opioid (morphine,oxycotin,oxycodone, etc) pain medication daily you may be eligible for this study. COR Clinical Research is conducting a study which will evaluate the effectiveness of an investigational oral medication for people who suffer from constipation.
The total study duration is about four months and involves about 6 visits to our clinic, plus occasional phone consultations with the COR medical team.
Participation Requirements:
- * 18 or older
- * Chronic, non-cancer related pain treated with opioids
- * less than 3 spontaneous bowel movements/week
- * The COR medical team will explain additional requirements
