Celiac Disease

Are you unable to eat foods that contain gluten such as wheat, barley or rye? This is also known as Celiac Disease. The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication to induce remission in subjects with Celiac Disease. The study will have a 6-week long "Gluten-Challenge."  This is a very important study in the celiac community as their are currently no medications on the market for Celiac Disease.

This is approximately 2.5 months long with 6 visits.

Entry Qualifications:

  1. *  Be between 18-72 years of age
  2. *  Must be diagnosed with Celiac Disease by a biopsy
  3. *  On a Gluten Free diet for at least 1 year
  4. *  NOT smoked within last 6 months
  5. *  Cannot be a diabetic

All qualifying participants will receive study visits, study medication, and tests performed at no charge. There will also be a nominal reimbursement for a patients time and travel costs.
